I just unpacked my JBL On Stage speakers which I bought, and used, on holiday with my iPod. They were great.... however, now the speakers are hissing for some reason (even when there's no iPod docked). As soon as the power's on they hiss (and it's fecking annoying). Obviously you can't hear it much while the music's on, but I will sit there (subconsciously) listening for that hiss - which will rear its head during the quiet moments of songs (and in between, obviously) Evil or Very Mad

Ideas?

Did you buy it outside of the UK by any chance? I'm no electrical or sound expert, but it sounds like a "dirty" connection. Confused

No, not really. I tried it in a different room too, in case something was interfering.
