Yup you probably guessed right. Riding into work this morning and was nearly there after an hours commute. Last street before I parked up. Just filtered past some cars and blasted off from the lights then splat. The biggest bucket load of seagull sh*t hits me right in the visor and all down my nice silver alpinestars leathers. Evil or Very Mad This must have been one hell of a seagull! Shocked I couldn't see a thing but it wiped off fairly easy. So I parked up and ran into work trying not to be seen by anyone to save embarrasment. It all washed off fairly easy with water and paper towels thankfully. Would have been worse I guess if it had happened at the start of the journey. Then it'd have all been crispy and dry by the time I got there. Sick

It's pretty funny now though. Laughing Anybody had a similar experience?

Hee hee hee, that is really funny. Not happened to me yet but since I'm laughing and I believe in karma, I'm sure I will get shat on at some point.

Remember (one of my favourite proverbs): Sometimes you're the seagull, sometimes you're the statue. (Or in this case, the motorcyclist!!!)

almost totally unrelated but when I was at RAF Lossiemouth we had a Jaguar take a Canada Goose down the port intake

it damaged the engine so much that you could see daylight looking through it and it actaully cracked the main compressor casing in half

however, the crazy mad pilot flew it back on one engine (afterburn all the way Shocked ) and we found half the compressor blades embedded in the intake skin - which on the other side is a fuel tank

it was very smelly as I remember Sick

I'd been to visit my dad in hospital, I was wearing jeans and a bike jacket, didn't fancy the full leathers in the hospital. I rode home through the country roads, nice sunny day not a care in the world, then I noticed some thing splat all over the roof of the car in front. Too late, before I could do anything about it a Heron in the tree above emptied a gut load of recycled fish all over me and the bike. It literally hit the front of the fairing went up and over my left hand side and all the way down the back to the end of the pillion seat. Fortunately if missed my helmet, I wouldn't fancy trying to get that stuff out of the air vents. The really nice part was the feeling of the wet shit sinking through my clothes onto my skin and then going cold and hard.

I was actually going straight over to my girlfriends house. She really appreciated me scrapping fish shit off my clothes half naked in her kitchen. Shocked

On the test beds at rolls royce, they do a whole series of tests on the engines and blades, between the mass of buttons there is one button marked "FIRE BIRD" guess what thats for? and tyheyfly in canadian geese to use on it as they are pritty much the bigest thing thats likely to be unfortuneate enough to end up in an engine...

hehe I'm sitting here chuckling away, although like Karen I think it's probably not a good idea as it's not happened to me yet and this probably means it will!

Got lost in Glasgow, but saw a couple of cops walking through some pedestrian precinct. So I pulled over, left the bike on the zig zags (I was so lost I hadn't realised) and ran over to the cops. Just as I got to them (the fuzz) I could tell they were about to bollock me for something...and just as I'm about to start asking quick directions, this huge dollop streams out of the sky and runs straight down my suit...needless to say, they forgot all about the Zig Zags, and I felt like a right twat!. Gives a whole new meaning to the idea of being humiliated by "the filth!" THey just stood there and laughed at me! Wnakers!

They target anything shiny and blue, especially as the sun light reflects off it, wonder why? They think it's water when the aim their arses up to hit those shiny blue bikes and cars.

I came round a corner doing about 50, flock off pigeons on the road. One of them flew up and hit me on the head while my visor was open. It didn't hit my face but it snapped the visor off the helmet, cost me £40 for new clips and visor. Crying or Very sad

I think seagulls actually do it on purpose. No...really!

I was working at a job where I was putting up some CCTV cameras near the roof of some warehouses. Well there were seagull nests on the roof and the daft things must have thought we were after the eggs. They were divebombing us and unloading huge amounts of crap at us Shocked Eventually we had to have one person doing the work and the other standing with a handful of large stones to throw at the fuckers when they swooped on us. Didn't stop them though. I have honestly never seen so much shit in my life Shocked Not even on a Saturday morning after a curry. That seagull must have offloaded twice it's own bodymass all over us. Mad

i got shited on by a seagull, when i was doing my basic training at hms raleigh, it went all over my beret, all down my jacket and all over my shoes

it hit me the worst, the guys around me got a small dose

it was embarressing infront of 120 trainees, and everyone just laughed, i was not happy...but it seemed to happen fairly regularly to other people which i was more than happy to laugh at
