Moped keeps on conking help!!

helllo i have a peugeot speedfight 2 2006 (2 stroke)

and it has been sat up for a while and yesterday it was fine and today when i took it out it would run fine but when i stopped reving it would conk out and i would have to start it again.

this is a big problem as i cant take it on main roads till its fixed.

i was wondering becuase my bike has a dead battery so i have to kick start it. would it be conking out coz it needs a battery?

please help becuase it needs fixing and i wanna take it out

The battery shouldn't affect that. I was running a moped for weeks with a dead battery and no reg/rec to charge it. Have you been topping up the oil? If it's been sat for a while it might just be crap in the fuel lines

If its been stood for ages then most likely water has got into the fuel system. The sparkplug might not be working very well either.

Drain the tank and the carb (if it has one) refill with fresh petrol and bang a new sparky in.

99 times out of 100 this will fix the problem.
