Typhoon 125 oily spark plug

Hi Folks,
Just bought a third hand Typhoon 125xr 2003, started to clean it up a wee bit and found that the spark plug used was a NGK BPR6HS. I took it out and it was all oily black, replaced it with recommended NGK BR9ES and worked fine for about 3miles. Engine stopped and no chance of restart. Evil or Very Mad

Put the old (clean) plug in and it works... Question

Whats wrong with it???

that is strange,,, its a 2T right,,, is it oil or petrol thats on the plug

Definitely oil and yes it's a 2T.
Any ideas?
