Scruffy seat

I'm trying to fix up my pillion seat cover which helpfully decided to throw itself off the back of my bike, nearly decapitating my mate . A screw had worked loose in the holding mechanism and it let go.

Anyway, I heard of a tip where you could heat up the cover with a hairdryer and it would stretch more, letting me pull the scuffed bit round the back. I've tried it and it works fine, only my normal sized stapler started crying and can't secure the cover in place.

I've asked around, but no-one's got an industrial scale stapler they can lend me. Would something like this do it? Has anyone else re-covered a seat or done something like this

I used one of these last night to re-cover my seat, tbh it worked but the staples were only secure once a big ass hammer was involved to persuade them back in.
I'd say it was worth a try for that price

Buy one from Argos (an electric one) and take it back when you're done. Cheeky but it works. haha

~Tell them it doesn't work and you were unimpressed with the quality so would just rather a refund.

hahahaha, i work for argos, if you return it looking like it hasnt been used within 30days (and it isnt excluded from the 30dy back money guarantee)in its packaging undamaged with your reciept they will take it back
if you say it doesnt work, we do test alot of the things, wel we are meant to

did mine with a £20 staple gun from rymans. doesnt have to be some industrial monster to staple through some plastic.
