We had our end of term celebration tonight. As always we had a musical interlude and one of our Y10 lads sang and played acoustic guitar. He is very hearing impaired but sang and played beautifully, I was moved to the verge of tears. My mate Andy tapped me on the shoulder, I thought he was going to comment on the lad's courage and talent. What he said was " Wal, do you think he has started to display homosexual symptoms?" I had to walk out as I was crying with laughter and the children were pointing at me
