Will parts from a '96 Firestorm fit onto a '99 model?

Hi folks. Thanks to you all for answering my question regarding my brothers firestorm. I have found most of the parts he needs but the bike that's breaking is from 1996 & his firestorm is from 1999. Does anyone know if the parts will the parts be interchangeable?

We're more concerned about the clutch/crank cover on the lower right side of the engine, as that's the main part that needs changing due to the hole in it

We've found most of the other parts on Ebay too from seperate sellers, but would obviously like to get it from one person if at all poss.

Should do yes.

I don't think the Firestorm changed much during it's model run, if at all(except colours).

Yeah should be fine, the model changed in 2001 and there are a few differences, a bigger tank, 19l up from the old 16l, different clocks too. Also worth noting that the very first model didnt have a pair valve (I stupidly bought one for mine when building it up from bits only to find they were not used until later unlike my manual says!)
