Could be a trapped nerve in your neck/shoulder area - have you been holding the bars differently since your injury? I lost the feeling in my little and ring fingers on my left hand for a few weeks after an extended 90+mph blast on an unfaired bike. Saw a chiropractor, had a few adjustments and was given some neck exercises and I eventually regained the feeling. ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. Only been on the bike a couple of times since the injury due to it being too painful. Thanks for the info though, it didn't cross my mined that it could be a completely different part of my body causing the trouble.

You just described the area of skin supplied by the ulnar nerve. There may be swelling around it or it may have become trapped.
Google reveals ulnar nerve entrapment to be known as cubital tunnel syndrome in humans.
Go see the doctor. Unfortnately, riding your motorbike will almost certainly make it worse ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

Used to have problems with Ulner on right hand, was caused by propping my elbow on the desk whilst at computer, little finger & ring numb and palm below them.
Ibobrufen for immediate relief, different seating position at work, problem solved ____________________ Fallen Angel "Nae sniffing my seat now!!!!! "

I broke a bone in my Wrist ( I forget which) in May last year. All healed up now bu tboth wrists now sprain as one's weak and the other is doing more work.
I tried swimming and powerballs etc. nothing works as far as I can tell other than ibuprofen gel and lashings of it.
Been to GP, had needles probed into my joints (without anasthetic) and an MRI scan done. all tendons are fine (this is of course according to the NHS). Wrists still bolloxed. Recently they have been better as I now mountain bike aswell and after initial pain they seem to have gotten stronger as with the rest of the muscle on my body. I've gained a total stone since January.. though all my good work will now be undone, I fear as I have food poisoning .
In short: go docs. they'll poke it. it'll hurt like fuck but you'll know if it's okay or not. Or start buying lots of supermarkets own brand ibuprofen gel. It rocks. ____________________ Insta - FemFeral |
