My sister has just bought a YZF R125 on an 08 plate and needs it lowering... apparently there're kits available but I can't find any..

Anyone recommend somewhere? Tried ebay and google but can't seem to find them

Take some foam out of the seat, and see if that helps before pissing around with lowering it via the suspension.

If you lower it via the suspension the handling/ground clearence will be effected.

Have you seen the seat on a yzfr125?

Fecking tiny.

Take any foam off it and you'll be sitting on the frame.

Well I wouldn't describe the R125 as a tall bike in the first place, but it's just an idea. Wink

Perhaps she could lose some weight off her arse so her upper body is closer to the bike Thinking Does she have a big arse at all?...no offence...

I had a wee shot one one not too long ago, pretty damn big compared to the CG Thumbs Up

Kind of between an R6 and the CG Laughing

maybe she should have had a sit on the bike before she bought it Laughing

They are pretty tall. 818mm seat height (for comparison, the 675 Daytona which is pretty tall only has a seat height of 825mm).

Got one of them kits for her Keith, many thanks. She only needs it dropping the 35mm which is what the kit does so it's all good.

She did have a sit on one too in the Yamaha dealership, she's bought the bike now anyway an picks it up on Thursday or Friday.
