First of all I should say that this disk is formated deliberatly to be unreadable to anything but the device it was destined for (in this case our work CD player)
Anyway, we get our store music through a company called MoodMedia, it gets played through a "DMX" cd player and amplifier, it clearly says on the disk that it will be unplayable on domestic CD players, however I am using the wonders of the internet and my laptop. The CD has alot of mostly good songs on it, so it would save me a lot of time if I could just copy the disk rather than have to download the songs, also if I can burn in that format then maybe it will work on the work CD player.
I can open up the CD but it refuses to play the files on any of my media players, I'll add a print screen a few shots so you can see what the files are like.
Any ideas?
This is the screen when the disk is opened

This is the update folder opened, all the files have different endings?

And worryingly this is the same update folder alfter I attempted to open folder "1" using VLC player.

As I say, nothing I have will open the file, any recomendations or advice?

Wonder if they're actually standard audio files but have given them the wrong file format extension?
According to google, the extensions listed are nothing to do with audio files.
Maybe try renaming them as .mp3/.wmv/.ogg/.flac etc and see if they open.
I find an open source program called audacity can handle most things audio.
Just thinking out loud.
EDIT. You have I presume got it showing hidden files too? ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

You'll be hard pressed to find codecs for .pfc files as DMX gear isn't freely available for public use.
Better to Record direct to PC. Splt n RIP
Thats if you can hook up some lineouts from the DMX Player.
