17, 3 months after passing my car test. My parents wanted to get a bit of road sense in a car first.

Bike at 17.
Car at 18.

I have not driven a car since I passed my test a year ago. Have you seen how much they charge for insurance! Surprised

I will probably not get a car until I'm 25.

17, about 2 months before I turned 18. Main reason I did it was I couldn't be arsed to re-do my CBT and I wanted to get through the restriction while I was at uni.

I've been waiting for this to come up.....

Passed test 22 days after my 17th birthday!!

Was well pleased that I got it so quick!

Kinda cheated tho by doing theory test at 16, then as soon as I was 17 BAM!! Straight in for the A2 thank you very much!!

I seriosly reccomend all 16 year old 50cc riders to do your theory at 16, makes life much easier and you have a year to do it while your waiting for your 17th!!

I was heartily told that if I do my theory while I am 16 it will not be applicable for a motorcycle test, only a moped test by the lovely lady from the DSA.

This is due to the fact my provisional entitlement for a car or motorcycle doesn't start until my 17th birthday.

Not sure how long ago you did your test but it may have changed now.

Passed car test aged 17.
Passed bike test aged 31

Wanted to get a bike a 16 but parents didn't like the idea. Once I got a car I sort of lost interest until a lot of friends started showing up with bikes.

Did my CBT on my 16th birthday and went and bought a £200 TS50X. First my parents knew about my interest in bikes was when they saw it parked in the drive...my Dad asked me whose it was and I told him it was mine:lol:
