Once i have fixed my bike up etc, i should have some money left over. Theres a local Paintballing club near me and was thinking about joining up and getting into the leagues etc. Ive been paintballing once and loved it. Just wondering how much a good example of a paintball gun sets you back. And whether you can buy the paintballs in bulk etc.

Anyone in local teams etc?

Thanks

i used to be into airsoft a long time ago, but unfortunately it never took off in a bit way over here, so i was considering a move to paintball

You could paint a burglars face quite fast too.
I wonder how that would work out legally.

Only problem with that is i heard once about someone who shot a speed camera with a crossbow and the crossbow set off te camera... Beautiful pic of him there holding a weapon at it. Cant recall where i heard that, and if its true, but is a good point methinks.... (finds a portable bush to hide in first Razz)

I used to play paintball all over the world (Portugal,France,UK) but due to mortgage commitments & interests in other stuff (bikes) I gave it up a couple of years ago.

On average a brand new electro-pneumatic marker with a 4,500 psi air system will set you back £1,200+.

My total gear including gun(s),kit, spares, boots, battle pack (used for carrying paint),hopper, gloves, batteries, goggles inc face plate, divers tank to fill up compressed air system & God knows what other stuff lurked in my kit bag would have set me back £3,000+ but because I played in a sponsored team we got this at roughly trade price.

My brother still plays & has marshalled/refereed at various top events. (Alot of events are marshalled by players as there is not an official referee team such as The Premier League Referees)

All good fun but can be ultra competitive especially when shooting 15+ balls per second at each other. Fast paced & at times bloody painful but a great adrenaline rush.

Punter days or client days are great fun but the real top markers will blow you away.

To see more top gear & prices then pop along to :-
