As any other biker, i really really do love my bike. and if anything were to happen to it id be very very f***ed off. so.....

I went up the road to my local garage to pick up a few bits and bobs and parked my bike (in its own parking bay) behind a car (which was also in its own bay). i went into the shop half of the place and got my stuff and came out only to find my bike on its side looking at me as if to say *what the f**k happend there!!??) the guy had reversed his big heap into the front of my machine looked back at what he had done and drove off!!! bas***d! all this happend in such a flash i didnt evan have time to catch his number plate. as he was driving away i was calling him all the names under the sun and then picked my bike up.

he had cracked my mud guard, scratched my fairings a little and my clutch lever looks like a f***ing gay bananna!!

just goes to show how people can be towards bikers....

The petrol station is almost certain to have CCTV, they usually have it nowadays to discourage petrol "dippers".

That sucks, I always put my bike on centre stand when parking it up in carparks as it makes it that much more visable.

So you have seen the footage then, even when it pulled into the area?

Some would say I'm a 'biker'; owning 7 bikes, using a bike for commuting daily and having competed in a variety of on and off road competitive events.

I dropped my zx9 the other day. I picked it up and rode off. Ok, I didn't do any noticeable damage (actually, I just realised that's probably why the bar end was a bit dodgy when working on it today), but it doesn't sound like the damage done to your bike a) will cost more than £4 to fix in a functional manner and b) will affect the riding of the bike (which to me is what bikes are about) Smile.

Saying that, it wouldn't stop me trying to get some CCTV footage of what happened.

I presume you parked there after the guy with the boat? For future reference, presume you've worked out now Smile it's often not a great idea to park behind big vehicles with limited rear visibility.

But is there not a camera that caught his registration number as he entered or left the forecourt?

A bit late now but couldn't you report him as leaving the scene of an accident. I am sure that the police would have more resources at their disposal in order to trace him.
