I like the look of it, anyone alse heard about it?

Provided I've researched right -
https://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/a161489/time-to-watch-a-bit-of-flashforward.html One of the stars, is Charlie from Lost (who I thought was the best character) so I'm hoping it will be alright. Thumbs Up

Looks interesting, hope it won't turn into Cloverfield Pt2 - massively over hyped and generally "meh"

Didn't see Charlie in the trailer, but the wife/girlfriend woman is Penny Widmore from Lost (Sonya Walger)

I checked on IMDB and it has Charlie down as a lead role actor, presuming they are the same show/film.

It wouldn't work as a Cloverfield pt2 type film imo, they'd have to pick it up where cloverfield left off not start it on intrigue about why the loss of consciousness occurred so widespread.

Not convinced, seems like a very weak base to launch an entirely new series on. Presumably just going to be a few regular cast helping some randoms who saw their future avoid it in each episode, maybe a bit like Quantum Leap but nowhere near as good i'm thinking.

I thinking more along the lines of something being generally over-hyped, then kinda disappointing, anyone remember "Badgers on a Submarine"... or whatever that movie was called Wink

Phoenix, I thought Quantum leap was good, I saw every episode done but you can't have anything worse in plot or 'point' aired. Laughing

With cloverfield i was left in an 'edge of the seat' state, when they are nuked I was shocked, like I AM LEGEND and The Mist it felt unjustified as an ending for a pretty good film.

Quantum Leap was good, that's what I said, I just cannot see this new show being very good from the 'plot' outline, it's weak.

If you ever saw a show called Journeyman, it was much better than this looks but based on a similar storyline, altering historical events to change the future. It survived 13 episods before it was axed. There was another older show called Early Edition which wasn't bad, again a similar plot, it survived 2 seasons.

I also remember Early Edition and quite liked it. Quantum Leap was great too, Sam Beckett, the high kicking scientist... "Oh boy..." Laughing

So, about Lost. I hate to say it, but i never watched it. I couldn't be arsed with the mystery over so many episodes. Even two parters have me losing my patience...

So what was it actually about anyway?

Confused

Magnetic field on some hidden dodgy Island is set off, plane crashes leaving a couple groups of survivors battling each other and trying to not let the magnetic field failsafe going off again. Quite a long winded idea but made them money.

Watched it last week, quite good. This pleases me, as it means my 'any film with Denzel in won't be shite' rule is still valid.

I saved the cinema fee and spent it on beer instead. Wink

I can't, gotta go cinema. I like washington/ travolta in their films but the lady is also quite a fan so iv had my arm twisted. Laughing

G.I what's-it-called was advertised, unsure of it....

Also something with Johnny depp(sp?) was recommended, unsure of film title atm. Ice Age 3 is still on my list.

The Hangover(sp?) is deffo worth a watch, simply brilliant film. Thumbs Up Laughing
