Just got myself a bargain (I Think)

Its a 318 Coupe with M Sport interior in there.

Paid £10k for it, with 3 years warranty, and 10,000 miles on the clock, on a 55 plate.

What do you think??

Im thinking of getting the 18inch Msport alloys, but a close friend says tyres are around £160 a peice, hmmm.... Im pretty chuffed with it, just need to wait for it to be made ready for collection. Service, MOT and Valet being done on it then I can have it. Hate waiting!

All you need to do now is to drive everywhere in the outside lane and never ever indicate, ever.

Nice looking on the outside but the interior looks very minimalistic and austere to me.

Confused

Agree. There is no need to go overboard with something like an M3 but a big heavy car like that needs at least the 2.5L lump.

Joking aside it is a nice car as cars go and probably far better than cars owned by most on here despite their comments.

Depends on your priorities.

10k on a car, losing money everyday?

or

9.5k in the bank (deposit on a house, safety net, investment, nest-egg etc) and a £500 2.0 Diesel that does the job.

Whatever floats your boat though innit.

Its the 1.9 I think, 150bhp anyway. I paid the price cos it has the low low miles on it, and anything faster would rape me with insurance as im only 22.

Regarding the deposit for house etc etc, I have already got the house, got a bike, and pointless putting money in savings at this point in time.

Should be getting it wednesday, cant wait!

The interior looks abit minimal on that pic, I havent got any more pics of it just yet, but its impressive around the rest of the car.

I'm envious. Nice car. 2 door BMW looks special than 4 door.

Do you think? Surely it would be more sensible to have 7/8K in savings and spend 1-2K on a car, even if it's on finance and have the money tucked away for a rainy day?

I just think 10K on an average businessman spec car that's nothing special(at all) is a bit much, especially at 22 when other things matter. There are plenty of other better motors for far less than that. Unless you work 24/7 to earn not to need savings/deal 'stuff'Wink.

Just my Penny Coin Penny Coin .

LOL i didnt have £10k in savings, used all my pennies to buy the house lol

LOL, I was looking at a 207GTI but too small for the family, then it was an RX8, but guzzles too much fuel, and this BMW I didnt even see til we got to the showroom. Wife fell in love with it, turns out its as economical as my Astra 1.6. Im happy cos its a BM which is known for reliability, low miles etc etc, and my wife loves it cos its a BMW lol.

Everyones happy!!

Look to swap in 3 years or so, and its at that point I will push the boat out for something which I can insure.

Insurance on this may I add, only £540 p/y fully comp which also made my day.

I agree, not as swish as an M3 or some other cars, but hey, it was my favourite out of what I had seen, and I have regretted being indecisive about things and missing out.

Just counting down the days until I pick it up... Thumbs Up
