rf900r crash protection

Hi there, I just bought a near mint rf900, seeing as how it's the first bike I've had thats actually shiny, I'd like to keep it that way, but I can't find any crash protection anywhere.

Anyone got any ideas?

And is having a topbox on mainly a hoon bike gay?
