right, so today i was riding like a dick because of good weatherness.

got to a nice straight and clutched up in 3rd. pulled back a bit too hard and got one of those ''oh fuck'' moments. i knew it was going over.

now i never cover the brake, i know it went past the 12 oclock position, and for some reason my reaction was to grab a hand full of clutch. so thats a recipe for disaster.

now regardless of all this, the bike came down again nice and gently, wasnt even a slam.

i personally put it down to awesomeness, but i wouldnt mind knowing the real reasons/physics? because it doesnt quite add up to me.

I put it down to not actually wanting an answer but wanting to state the 'question' to all that care to read it...

I agree, it did not go past 12 o'clock or you would not have been able to recover it without using the back brake.

You do like to post about doing wheelies, don't you? Laughing

I pulled a 3rd gear 110 mph wheelie on saturday going to exeter.

It was like 5m long over a crest with a pillion.

Am I awesome now?

What he said. It's just not possible to do it without the back brake. You honestly think you went that far and was able to bring it back the same way the guy below did, without the back brake?
