How do i connect my guitar to the pc ?

I hear alot of people doing it but i cant find anything that tells me how.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? cheers

There's a USB cable available that you can use along with recording software such as Audacity.

I use an M-Audio FastTrack Pro, but there's a lot of cheaper options out there; these will give you an idea :-

And do i just plug my guitar in one end and my pc in the other?

You'll still need something to convert the output signal for the PC. The lead Grav posted would be a good starting point, get yourself a copy of Guitar Rig downloaded for enough effects to keep you happy for a while.
