I'm not normally on the side of the police but surely this little twat deserved a lot more than he got?

It's a blatant attempt at getting compensation.

Under the his photo he's quoted as saying "I'm really scared of the police now..." Because one swore at him??

Laughable so it is.

Thumbs Up

I don't blame the nasty little scrote for taking advantage of the system like all his mates do, but the DPS goons are a joke - the skipper didn't even call the guy a 'cvnt' to his face, he referred to him as one to other officers; which is surely a bald statement of fact!

If you'd spent hours dealing with a raving muppet (going straight my arse, he threatened to stab everyone he saw and smashed the place up with a hammer!) including multiple tazerings and a good tear up, you're likely to be a bit hyped up and liable to saw the odd naughty word.

It's probably a cunning distraction technique by ACPO: "I know, lets try and lay a smoke screen over widespread public disquiet over major policing issues by jumping all over one poor sod that most people would sympathise with anyway!".

Police swearing at the public is acceptable, but swear back at them and that's a breach of the peace. Rolling Eyes

If you wave a knife around you deserve a lot more than to be sworn at.

well i think the scared bit may have been from them storming in and tazering him

not saying he was justified in threatening them with a knife, just that being tazered might make people scared of police in future

have to admit i admire his quick thinking for pulling the barbs out

What makes you think that? It happens.

The guy also had problems with his heart, a tazer could easily have killed him. Nevermind four. Shocked

A Northumbria Police spokesman said: 'Francis was convicted of affray in court. If any civil action is received it will be considered in the usual manner.'

Simon Reed, of the Police Federation of England and Wales, said the case 'typifies the bureaucratic nonsense police officers have to contend with.'

Bureaucratic nonsense. Rolling Eyes

BAWWWWW!

If they're going to be using a weapon that is only to be used in a situation where they would have otherwise used a firearm then a bit of paperwork should be the least of their worries. Simon Reed is a nazi CUNT.

He was referring to the absurd disciplinary, not paperwork for the Taser.

SonD arguing that this scrote was mistreated after threatening to stab and kill, brandishing a knife and threatening with a gun REALLY weakens the view that police cant be trusted and should be help more accountable/have less power. I hold that view and I am annoyed that your one sided arguments are weakening it by their patheticness.

Maybe the disciplinary was appropriate. They never actually tell us what the swearing/inappropriate comment was. He could have been bent over with a slimy pig still massaging his prostate who whispers to him, "There's more of this where it came from, they're going to fᴜck you with a knife and use the blood as lube where you're going."

If that was the case then I would consider that to be highly inprofessional and a course to whip him back into shape would be appropriate.

If you watch any police program you can see exactly how they can fuck with the commentary to make the criminal look a lot worse than they're actually acting. I'm skeptical of the actual version of events, especially because there is only a one-sided timeline off the mail.

Quote:

When officers arrived at Glen Francis' home to arrest his girlfriend, he erupted in rage and targeted a female officer who was standing guard in his hallway.

He hurled a plastic bowl of cold pasta at her before officers claim he held her captive in his house and threatened to shoot her with a handgun he hid in a cupboard that he was no where near

She escaped, but when back-up arrived, Francis lunged at the officers with a six-inch butter knife, before the 35-year-old was shot twice with a Taser gun.

But he simply pulled the metal barbs from his skin (in a fight for his life) and continued his savage attack half hearted rage.

Then he barricaded himself into a room at the address in Ambassador's Way, North Shields, where he used a hammer to smash the walls, and screamed: 'The first copper in here is getting f****** killed, come on, I only want one of you.'

After a two-hour stand-off with trained negotiators, armed officers stormed his kitchen and Tasered him a further three times because the spasms from the taser were threatening and akin to assaulting a police officer before he was eventually arrested and taken into custody.

He has already been found guilty of something so there is a chance he's actually been a naughty boy but I can't trust anything the daily fail is saying about the series of events.

It seems he referred to the cunt as a cunt, following a strip search in the custody area of the police station - out of public hearing. Even the PSD documents (the department who hung him out to dry) seem to accept that it wasn't even intended to be heard by the 'victim'.
