What is the furthest distance everyone has done in one day?

Personally it was a 350 mile round trip Leeds to Oxford on a CG125. Fun! Laughing

About 400 Miles to north yorkshire to birmingham and and then home to manchester back on a GS500E bouncing down the M62/M6 most of the way.

I had to be pealed off of it at the end of the day and my legs havent been the same since, you can still see the scorch marks from the engine/exhaust on my old leather it got that hot!

Good gawd man! that can't have been much fun at all Shocked

Most i did on my cg was 210miles in one stint, would not have been so bad were it not for the numerous hills Sad

Most ive done on the cx up to now is 230 miles, then 60 the next day then 130 after that and then another 150 after that, quite a bit for a (slightly extended) weekend Smile

I'd love to do more though, hopefully it will happen after i escape from university...

Hi

Not sure. Went straight from work in Brussels to my mothers in Winchester, then the following day up to Aldershot and then back to Brussels. Bit over 24 hours. Failing that not really sure. Probably half way through France on the way to the south coast.

All the best

Keith

About 120, riding out with my Dad and his CB500, although if we just point-to-point rode to our locations, it would be about 40 miles, long live the Scenic route.
Sore ass, nothing else though.

A mate did derby to wales and back TWICE in one day on an (very) race tuned rs125, was 600 miles or so in one go.. best thing was as he was doing it for work he got payed £1 a mile Shocked

Cant say i'd reccomend it but provided your properly maintained and chain is adusted e.t.c. you should be fine, just make sure your in the aa or something though before going any further than you'd be prepared to push your bike.

Did a run from John O'Groats to Lands End, then back up to Henley, near Reading. Can't remember the actual mileage, all told it was around 30 hours. Longest continuous run I've ever taken part in.

About 450 miles London to Edinburgh last summer when I went up to the festival, then the same a week later coming back.

Return journey somewhat disrupted though as I managed to snap the ignition key off in the lock just as I was about to set off from Edinburgh. I did have a spare - back in London...

Still the RAC hooked me up with a really helpful garage who stripped the lock down to get the bit of the broken key out and then temporarily sorted me out so I could get home. Seemed like all the mechanics in the garage (four of them) preferred to help out with the bike rather than the dull four-wheel cages they'd normally be working on! Very Happy
