Hi, i want to buy a dell 1545, that i have seen for £329 in tesco but typically they have no stock and dont know when stock will be due.

They have it in the tesco catalogue for £350 (suspicious lol) that i can have the next day. But i dont want to give them my money without the laptop, (i would prefer a deposit)
Does anyone know where i can get this laptop, at a good price, in a store (not online)
thanks, nick

Link?

Dell have a website, they're normally pretty keen on price but watch for a delivery charge. Best way to deal with them is look for the price online than call the sales monkeys and barter with them "Are you sure that's the best you can do it for? Can you knock the delivery price off? I may consider buying more for the rest of my family / BCF people who were helpful?" etc etc

DO NOT use Laptops Direct - they are a bunch of absolute cocks who know nothing about customer service and pleasantry.

PC world do it for....
Price inc VAT
£369.00

If you were to go via Quidco, you could get 2.5% cashback on that, which is just shy of £10.

You might as well either take the Tesco online offer, again go via Quidco and get 3% cash back Smile

Dell do it from £329 (you spec it) again via Quidco you can get 5% cashback.

A lot depends if you want to walk out with one... Ring round Tesco stores or call into one and ask them if any other local ones have stock.

Just check the spec of what yo uare getting as it seems to vary a lot with diffrent retailers. So while they may appear cheaper, the spec is not as good.
