My mate wants to start this off road malarkey ... but he is only 5 foot 7 inches.

What bikes do you suggest ?
Are lowering kits any good ?

Ady smith is that kinda height or a bit shorter maybe and he seemed to do ok. So a lot is to do with confidence.

A note that with the preload turned way down, Bendy was on my KTM200 fine. Get it set up right for me and I can only just tip toe it around.

Anyway, Gas Gas Pamp' is the 'usual' suggestion and I believe Bendy may be considering selling hers, to might be worth giving her a shout.

I am indeed thinking of selling my Pamp. It suits me fine at 5 foot 6 and plenty taller folks have ridden it and been perfectly happy, so it's not like it's a little kiddies bike.

If he wants to borrow it and have a go, feel free - you'll have to collect it in a van/trailer though cos it's SORN / no MOT since I've only used it at Gingers for the last year or so.

No sales pressure, I've lent it to plenty of people in the past, just stick some fuel in. Thumbs Up
