The scottoiler turns off when the engine is off, which means there are a couple of possibilities:
1/. The oiler is leaking when the bike is off. Test by running the bike a while, then unhooking the feed nozzle* and placing it in a container. If there are more than a few drips after a few hours, there is something wrong with the oiler.
2/. There is another oil leak on the bike that is leaking onto the stand (What colour is the oil on the stand?). If the above shows its not the oiler, you will need to find the leak and fix it. Also, keep a close eye on your engine oil levels from now until its sorted. If you are losing oil, you want to be very careful that you don't run out
*or whatever its called. The bit that touches your sprocket that the scottoiler oil comes out of. ____________________ Jonathan A wrote: tart. |

Two things. Check your drip rate and make sure it's set for 1 drip per minute - I suspect you've got it a bit high. Second, whip off the drive sprocket cover and clean out all of the accumulated crap under it - it'll be the oil loosening that as well. |
