LMAO Laughing

There's a guy on a ped where I live with about 5 blue neon lights on his. It looks horrible. I think I'll give him a slap next time I see him.

Not worth what risk? Surely you can't be on about the risk of Robby breaking your legs?

Depends what colour.

Ie blue is a no-no, red has to be at the back I presume, same with white.

I would presume green and orange were ok to some degree.

No excuse o have them though. To me they shout "look at me, I can't ride".

because of the frame/airbox arrangement the 12 is possibly the most difficult bike on the planet to turbo

I know of one that is up to 20 grand install to date and that doesn't include the donor bike Shocked

anyhoo I wanted a black one Middle Finger

Green is reserved for doctors, and orange is for site traffic/indicators/hazard lights.

I think the only colours of neons you could legallyish pull off are purple and yellow.

Neons are tat but what about the tyre caps that make glowing circles on your wheels. Bit tarty but still cool (I reckon).

I thought they looked alright in pictures until I seen them on a bike for myself when I was out one day. Also tat.

I assumed all neons were illegal. On the Halfords web site, in the fine print it says "not for road use".
After all, its illegal to drive a car with the overhead light thing on too Confused
Personally, i think they look terrible. They're for Nova boys more than anything.

There is no law against Neons as yet. So long as the bulb or lamp isn't visible they're OK i.e. you can cast a glow on the ground or on your tyre for example and that's fine.
I see nothing wrong with them personally. They're nowhere near as bad as the pillion pet things and those stick-on ears etc. And nothing's worse than an iccle number plate.

Worse when it is dangling a cut down L plate, like it makes them less of a learner or something?
