10:30 start

Straightliners round

yes it's drag racing but the beauty of Elvington as many know is that the fun doesn't stop at the 1/4 timing lights

at Elvington in the left lane you can keep it pinned for another mile and a half to the next set of timing lights Cool

even if you hate the idea of drag racing, if you have a 600 or bigger, you really ought to let it stretch its legs at least once and really find out what it will do

not what it says on the speedo Wink

went before prchasing said domestic items and it's 7.50 in pp. Brilliant!...if there is a meet near you get along, support it, especially liked the scooters and 125s going down. 8.89 was the best time I saw Shocked Shocked Shocked but I had to leave before the top runners final...some lovely machines there...

Was a pretty good day, I have taken loads of pictures (over 500), of which if will sift out the crap ones and upload the good ones later. I went for the scooters too Very Happy as I have a dragster and went down to meet some of my mates. There were only 3 scooters there today which was a bit disapointing, altough it wasn't an X-race round.
Said hello to Mr C, very nice bike by the way Very Happy I think he got the fastest flyer of the day. Well done mate.
Panther: will have to say hello next time, I am normally with all the scooters so just come over and say hello, we dont bite.
