Yep you guessed it, i crashed the bike.

Coming to a tight corner a little too fast, panic braked and went flying 50 yards into a cornfield, no damage apart from a small 1 inch scuff on the fairing and a burst front tyre (thats as far as i could tell anyway) oh and sh*tloads of foliage decided to attach itself to me and my bike.

Had to push the damn thing 2 miles to local mechanic, god i hate pushing my bike(especially up hills).

Only a week ago i posted "I havent binned my bike since coming on to the forum" so yeah now im convinced this place is cursed Razz

Zak

Zak...........No way.
This damn curse is just too much coz I too stacked mine today.
I had been for an excellent thrash round and, so I filled up with petrol.
My plan was to go straight home after that, but I thought I would go the twisty way home (only about 5 miles from home).

I came to a nice right hand bend, thought I would go for it a little bit, so I did, but my front wheel hit a small pothole while I was in maximum lean, my peg hit the floor, and the bike flipped to the left, so I ended up bouncing along the left had grass verge. At this point I thought I could keep the bike upright and tried my best to stop but because of the bumps I seemed to spend more time in the air than stopping. I tried to steer the bike right (back onto the road) but in doing so I shot straight across on to the right hand grass verge where the bike slid (with me still on it).
The bike and myself ended up in a bush in a 3 foot ditch.
I got up okay, but the fairing on my VFR is now smashed (gonna have to do a zimma and get the araldite out) and I am gonna have to buy a new screen.

I liked my red screen!
But black (tinted) screen is cool too.
Fairing damage has been repaired with araldite, its a bit of a bodge but at least its ridable, and you cant see how bad it is from a distance.
