Noticed its started getting all jolly on BCF again.
So in my campaign to 'Keep Death Alive' i ask this.
Have you had a supernatural experience? Y'know seen a ghost or scrapped with a poltergeist?

After death? Usually a funeral.

See the recent post frenzy for advice on everything from what music to which sandwiches really make the day go with a little pizazz.

I can't believe that in all these years that man has been looking for evidence of ghosts and ghoulies the only proof we have managed to attain are fuzzy photographs and indecipherable sounds. You'd think that if anything supernatural did exist we would have some hard evidence on it by now.

Quite a few years ago now we lost twins very soon after they were born. My wife understandably upset was looking for answers and explanations from just about anywhere that could offer them and even tried mediums in the process.

I was unfortunate enough to accompany her to a few so called readings with the likes of colin fry and tony stockwell and from what I could see people were wanting to believe so bad that however vague the communication was they were quite happy to have anything to grasp onto.

I guess if you want to believe badly enough then you'll see and hear what you want to.

I've never looked for anything but I've seen more than most people. Have photo's of orbage that I've taken myself. Before anyone says it, dust shows different to orbs on camera. I still haven't decided what orbs are. Laughing

IT doesn't really matter what happens when you die.

You're gonna have to face it when your time is up anyway!

I'd like to think its not the end, maybe it is as far as our human brains can comprehend it, but from a viewpoint different from ours it is probably just another phase of life.

I'd quite like a film noir scene.

I stumble, alone, this world is darkening for me now. As the great curtains close, I hear the angels lament my passing from afar. I lean against the grainy wall, as my life ebbs slowly away. One last effort, one last stand.

I sway, drunkenly
--thwack- scorpions snake head punctures my chest and showers everyone with gore, I get dragged across the screen and drop kicked in the face.

That's all very darkly romantic.

But what if you had to look at a 'Closed' sign for eternity...

For ever and ever, on and on...

Still there...

..well there's Most Haunted on telly. I've not watched more than 10mins as it made me cringe with embarrassment. And whenever i've listened to people recounting their tale, i've got that feeling of "Its all bollox...believe it if i see it".
But so many people have seen 'things' A close mate of mine tells of seeing a lady dressed in an old fashioned nightdress standing in his front room, she smiled at him and he got up out of his chair and went upstairs. Came back down to check and of course she was gone Rolling Eyes He can't explain it and believes 100% that it happened at last year 11:30pm on a wednesday in March.
