After coming off it in September 08, I spent a few months sorting it out for being put back on the road. August 09 and Im still at it!!

I may make a full thread another time but here are a couple of pictures of how it looks now. The numberplate needs putting at a better angle, indicator relay fitting and it should fly through the MOT.. he hopes now!

Unfortunately I left my polarising lens on the cam so the full bike shots have turned out naff! More excuse to get it on the road and get some proper pictures I guess!!

Surprised That is so nice! You've done a really nice job. Did you design the paint scheme?

Love the paint, reminds me of Craigs alot.

Good looking bike mate, nice job on the restoration, i wouldn't worry about the number plate angle tbh, looks fine as is.

Looks absolutely amazing! I've always had a soft spot for one of these but I'm just too big!

Good Job! Thumbs Up

Thanks.

No, the paint scheme is from the Honda VTR1000 SP2 - It was in this design before, though slightly altered. I have gone for a much crisper white, with more modern stickers to liven it up a bit..

Fitted the LED relay yesterday and they work fine now.. I have just got to work out why the front lever isnt lighting up the brake light - and it isn't the switch!

Looking at getting a GSXR K6/7 early next year so that I can look after this a bit better,,
