Hi at 18 your not old enough to take the direct access course, so forget DAS.

Just take your normal test...and you will be restricted to 33bhp for 2 years, which isn't so bad really a vfr400 has only 50bhp i think anyways.

DAS (Direct access) is a test for people older than 21, who do not want to be restricted to 33bhp, they take the test...and get an unrestricted licence.

regards

Rooroo no its the same test...only deference is on a normal test u do it on a 125cc 12bhp, for a das test u ride a 500cc, usually a gs500 ect restricted to 33bhp.

i had about 4 hours of training then my test as i had been riding for a year already...cost me little over £100.

regards Thumbs Up

yer do the a2 restricted test . get a vfr400, and buy a restriction kit. £200 but worth it.

thats what i did, good becasue after 2 years you can ride anything. dont have to do any more tests.
