Depending where you're staying. Many camp sites do a coolpack exchange. Get a soft cool bag, then you can keep things like bacon reasonably cool.
I normally take things like boil in the bag rice, those 2 minute indian/chinese things as well. Maybe the odd boil in a bag dinner if I'm feeling really lazy. ____________________ Like a Yorkie - I'm not for the girls |

Cornwall doesn't appear to be the middle of nowhere, they will have suppermarkets, local shops and petrol stations that do food or supplies. Some camp shops even stock a very basic array of edible delights (okay, so it may only be 1p sweets and milk). In the summer time a chip van and ice cream van would drive round the site too!
Oh, and when I was in my ATC days I would take bacon / sausages, eggs and the likes in the rucksack for breakfast when out and about. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |

I sometimes carry my rally food pack, this is a cliklock food box around 6"x4"x2", this contains a small amount (usually 1 portion each (in bags) of rice, pasta, instant mash potatoes, a few various oxos, a little instant gravy mix, salt, black pepper, and few dried chilli`s & herbs and a minature voddie bottle containing veg oil.
add a few cheap steaks from a local supermarket/butcher en-route, allows me to knock up a basic meal if I find myself somewhere without facilities, using only a small stove, and a couple of mess tins & water ____________________ I accept no responsibility for swearing, drinking, motorcycle riding or your pregnant teenage daughter. |

I find frozen stuff is handy as it has thawed by the time you get to your destination.
Prawns are only best on a two day trip in the sun though. |

Why eat crap, junk, packet food? I cook fresh pork chops, boiled potatoes, bacon, sausage, fried bread, fried or poached eggs, tomatoes. I only use a small single burner, but still manage to eat perfectly good food that you usually cook at home on a full sized cooker. ____________________ Enjoy everyday, tell those you love everyday you love them
