How many days training does that include and does that include the cbt?
Not sure if this helps but my local centre charges £100 for the cbt, and £520 for three days worth of training and module one test on day 4, module two on day 5.
Its a lot of money when there are two of us (my other half and me) but it will be worth it Smile

That's more or less the going rate if you're looking at a full DAS course including CBT and test fees.

A couple of ways of making it cheaper are to book with a friend, or book in off-peak season. My mate and I got a 4-day DAS course for £400 all in, booking in March.

lol we tried finding out if we could get a discount but were told no way basically! Apparently they have a 2:1 ratio anyway so they would get the full amount normally with two students Rolling Eyes

A course of car lessons would be about as much.

If you're doing it from scratch sounds not far off.

Typical cost around here broken down as:

1 day CBT = £100-130

1 Day on a 125 = £120 (6 hours total, from 9-12pm then 1-4pm, £20 per hour then, equates with car driving lessons at £20-25 per hour)

2 Days on a 500 = £240

Mod 1 = 1/2 day bike hire + test fee = 50+10

Mod 2 = 1/2 day bike hire + test fee = 50+80

Are they including the theory test fee? That's £31 on its own.

All that lot is not far off £700 and that's at North West prices.
