Well after spending a few hours dismatling the back of my bike, then putting it back together again with a new smaller rear sprocket, i find that unsuprisingly the chain is now far too long. removing a single link from it would leave it an acceptable length.

so how the hell do you remove a link from a chain? is there a trick to it? brute force? cutting equipment required?

ask your mates to see if any of them have a link extractor Karma its easier with one of them

any way to do a quick bodge? will need the bike in a few hours Razz

Angle grind the end off one of the pins then drift it out.
