Need to teach a mate for his test, help!

My friend hasn't got enough cash to fork out for lessons, so muggins here needs to teach him. That's all well and good, but I did the old test, not the new one, so I need help...well it's what you guys are best at, may as well give you something to do!

What is different exactly? I have been reading up, but I also need reminding about when lifesavers are used etc on u-turns etc, I can do all the road riding stuff ok (hopefully) but if people want to remind me of that then thats cool too.

If people could outline manoeuvres that you have to do on the off road part, and what I need to teach him, I would be really grateful!

Remember to teach him when doing these manovures as soon as you start the test act like you are on a road doing mirror checks and lifesavers.

You do several exercises, Slalom round cones, Figure of 8 round cones, Slow riding (walking pace) 30mph swerve, 30mph emergancy stop, uturn.

they need to get a copy of that DSA book that explains everything that's in the test. then they need to practice, lots. none of it is complicated, it just requires practice.

This might prove to be useful for you as it includes the layout for module one, with measurements.

Yep CBT done and theory done, he's been riding about on a 125 for a while, so he probably has lots of bad habits!
