Is the price right?

Been on the phone to about 3 riding schools about doing my a2 licence, the best price i could get for 2 day lessons and the tests was £600 is that right? if its that much i might get a car which i dont really want to do but would work out about the same as i have a car now just no test or insurance.

I am from the london area if any1 knows anything cheaper please do tell.

Not local I know, but the trains about 40 minutes from Kings Cross, and Letchworth has one of the highest pass rates in the UK.

It's about £20 for a peak return on the train, so if it's massively cheaper may be worth doing?

Have you got a CBT?

(I paid about £400 for a 3 day course with these guys, including a CBT, but that was 3/4 year ago now)

I paid £500 for 3 days including my first day acting as a CBT and both parts of the test. Obviously bike hire and equipment hire is included in that.

I've found the prices vary like crazy though, one guy in the area was only asking for £375 but it turned out he had no off-road site for the mod 1 and his idea of a days training was from 8am till 12. Also had some people quote me over £600.

Don't be afraid to haggle with them over the price, I got my CBT thrown in for free (as part of the 1st day) and got him to throw in the insurance excess waiver for free too.

FFS too far away gunna take me an hour to get there. which is annoying as i like the prices.....


Any1 else know one? when i said london area i ment essex i just dont like declaring it freely lol
