Fell of my bike....

and broke my foot, now i got to sit on my ass for over two weeks in a cast,

But dont worry, the ninja is fine. as it was my mountain bike i stacked it on!

only got it a few weeks ago, (09 GT avalanche) been loving riding the thing as its so light.

I came of the back and obviously put my foot down funny, its so lame, i wasnt even going that fast.

im gonna be so bored now waiting for it to heal, im fed up now after two days.

because i have a huge cast on my leg, which makes it pretty imposible to ride motorbike or mountain bike....

i got it for two weeks then i gotta go back for another x ray to see how its healing, if its healing ok they might change the cast for one i can actually walk on.

carrying any sorta drink is pretty imposible with the crutches as i have found out, it sucks...

i have a cast up to my knee, pedaling the mountain bike is posible with one leg but why bother...

motorbike is out of the question as i cant wear boots or trainers let alone get my bike out.

car is out the question as i can hardly get in it, let alone push the clutch in.

so unless you are trying to be funny in some way i do not understand matt....

please explain?

i've been there with casts. wrist and leg ones, riding around. so you cant really say ''i cant ride for 2 weeks''.

Zxrmike guy - You can carry glasses on crutches, i found it easiest to use the side of the palm of your head against the handle on the crutch, that allows you to carry a glass without spillage. No need to lift your crutch, just drag it until you need to put weight onto it again

Saying that, i didn't have a cast on when using crutches so it may be totally different for you.

Like all these things you would have to be caught to be prosecuted and it's a nice 'catch all', but meh? I was told I wasn't allowed to drive for 2 weeks after a general anaesthetic, which was a royal pain. Didn't dare risk it, as 2 weeks seems a short time when compared with a 12 month ban

Tbh it dont really hurt now, i get a weird aching sensation sometimes.

They said the more rest i give it in the first two weeks can make it heal a whole lot quicker.

The nurse who put my cast on said its a bone footballers break alot, the name i cant remember though.

I have not been to hospital for years and i was proper embaressed sitting in a&e with some of the drama queens, i mean no wonder it takes so long to get seen, when you have the likes of fully grown men sitting there with a cut on their finger, or there was a woman who thought her kid had broke his foot, and the kid was running around a & e, its pathetic.

I feel proper lame sitting indoors, i thought it would be great having loads of time off, but its shit.

I had loads of paperwork to do for work, invoices and estimates etc, which i typed in a few hours yesterday and then im bored again.

Roll on 2 weeks...
