cant ride any motorised two wheels on the road without passing a CBT....makes sense really
and ignoring the law side of it, its highly unadvisable anyway, a CBT costs 100 quid including bike hire for the day, is normally good fun, and opens your eyes to the basic differences between riding a car and bike on the road ____________________ So in other words, he stopped you for being flagrantly in posession of a motorcycle in direct contravention of the Hippies, Darkies and People Whose Face I Don't Like The Look of (Police Powers) Act. 1976 |

Hi
Passing your test prior to a certain date your full car licence was a full moped licence so no need for CBT, etc. However I think that was around 1990.
Think we need TC to give us the full details on this.
By the way, until CBT came in around a decade ago you could legally buy a 125 and ride it from the dealers with no training. Go back 20 years and you could do the same with a 250.
All the best
