Module 1 test - left or right handed?

Does anyone know how the decision is made on the module 1 test as to whether it's left or right handed?

The wife's got her module 1 on Sunday and prefers left handed, but don't know which one the Walton (Wetherby) VOSA centre uses. Does the site always use the same layout, or is it decided on the day?

My understanding is that they can vary it during the day?

At Ipswich test center they only have 1 working speed trap so it only gets setup one way for the day.

I've done it twice each time on different side...

So I think it depends on examiner.

Yeah, it's random - but either way I think your instincts take over and you follow through the cones without really thinking about which way you are going. Best thing, if the circuit isn't the direction you were hoping, is not to get that psychological block where you think "oh, no this is the one I might screw up".

Both are easily do-able
