i know there's a hundred topics on here similar to this, but here's my quick question!

i'm buying an exhaust for my unfaired Bandit, whats the real noticeable difference between a titanium and stainless can?

other than weight/colour is there any other reason to spend an extra 100 notes on one?

cheers all....

guess you're right.. they didn't make robocop out of stainless steel now did they?

he probably would have moved quicker if they'd glued a load of carbon bits to him though Wink

Titanium's lighter and stronger than stainless.

It also doesn't corrode as readily, although the stainless shouldn't either if it's good quality.

yeh i dont like the look of scorpion cans tbh..

can't really afford an akrapovic, even though i love the look/sound of them! plus its hard to find one that'll fit my bike.

i'm going for a viper can, it's in my budget and doesn't look too tarty either. i feel like 'proper looking' after market cans need to look like an akra or similar, or like the original can. anything in between can look a little..... wack, for example....

I did & think it looks ( & sounds) the dog bollocks as you have a choice of 4 sounds due to both baffles being removable.
Can't recommend Blue Flame highly enough & their customer service is excellent too! Thumbs Up

Damn!! Thought I'd attached a photo of my Bandit with the BF. Will continue to try to upload it. Confused

same year as mine! thought it looked similar... i'm a little behind yours at about 12k miles.

here's mine:

bellypan's the main difference i guess.. kinda connects that gap between the downpipes and the front end, looks meaty i reckon Smile

photo actually makes the bellypan colour look weird but in the flesh its spot on?! weird.

cheers mate, stay safe!
