no actually.

poor obs from me changing lanes, life saver, manouver, checked again to see the distance between me and the car im pulling in front of at the exact second the car in front braked, so i hit it before i could really react.

me and the bike went arse over tit in a somersault and i landed on my head in a blackberry bush 20 feet from where the bike layed up.

by the looks, my thigh went up and over the bars, snapping the clipon and denting the tank.

got knocked out for a few mins to wake up to a load of people holding my head which was a bit scary.

knee slider was ripped off at the material, not the velcro somehow. hate to think what it'd be like if i hadnt been fully gimped up.

damage to me?

1 broken metacarpal. fuckall.

Shocked Fuck me sideways and through the roof. Shocked

Actually, please don't. Laughing

I'm shocked, Ive taken the piss with you before matey but I'm glad you're alright coming away from that, I know how good-a-feeling it is walking away from a crash you know you should have died in. I think you need to polish it up a bit, most of it will look showroom fresh. Mr. Green Also, I've found something like this give's you good reason to exercise your ego for a bit since the big-headed-ness can increase 10-fold in some younger men Wink

Are you really going to do it back up? I'd love to do see that. Thumbs Up

I'd be wary using it on the seat though..

How much you looking at getting it back up to scratch? Oh - that wasn't a low blow was it? - Ah well, I'm sure you'll both scrape by. Thumbs Up

The guy/ess probably needs a respray since they can be seen 10 miles away at night due to the fluorescent day-glo orange now embedded in several panels. Laughing

I'm kidding Matt, I actually hope it all plays out as well as possible for you, walking away is clearly the better result, it's comforting to be able to have a laugh and joke about it for years afterwords. Thumbs Up

I am truly quite gutted about the bike, it's 1 more beautiful R6 MIA for a while, assuming it will be road bound again at some point - if it's too much for you to bother with and get rid cheap, id be privileged to know. What's it gonna cost to reconstruct?

That all? Plastics are expensive but with that priceage, would you be sorting the current (awesome) scheme or changing for something fresher?
