Adam, the best advice I can always give a new pillion is to relax and try to enjoy the ride - a tense pillion is a bad thing.
As for leaning, I always tell them to look over my shoulder in the direction the corner goes - ie. over the right shoulder for a right hander, and the left for a left hander - but to not actually lean.
Start on roads that you both know (if you can), and at a reasonable speed. Once you are both a bit more confident then you can go further for longer and faster  ____________________ I spend all my money on bikes and beer, the rest I simply waste! |
