i have look on various sites and its either me or they dont stock them but im after a nice set of down pipes for the 01sv pref stainless anybody got a clue where to get a set new as mine are looking a bit scabby

You need a friend who does stainless polishing, as I have yet to see a good downpipe on any 01 sv650. They come up fairly good. Although apart from the sv650.org site (as I recommended previously), you could try Bernies Breakers 01252 330742.
