Looks like a Kawasaki KE100 Thinking

Any marking on the engine that would give a clue?

The circles could possibly have been where a Yamaha badge was, although it could be another badge.

While searching through a website that's rather good for images of ancient bikes, I think I may have stumbled across some of The Stig's early work:

https://motorbike-search-engine.co.uk/classic_bikes/s2-350.jpg

:edit Speaking of said website - it looks an awful lot like one of these DT125s.

Specifically, a lot like this one:

Hi

Bodywork looks vaguely familiar but cannot remember where from.

All the best

John Connors bike was the XR 100 or 200, which is actually a 4 stroke, yet they made it sound like a 2 stroke on the film Laughing

Could be a Jawa, I'd say the one posted originally is 4 stroke and foreign designed/built, frame design is quite unique and old but you'd be looking for hours through old sites to determine the model, is there anything solidly printed or stamped on the engine or frame?

Based on:
https://digilander.libero.it/cuoccimix/jawa125-1967_5.jpg
From Here.

lol at the specsavers. I was a bit confused by that idea..even the old air cooled ones are nothing like that!!

As for km/ke100 nope it aint disk valve

I cant say what it is but look more euro than jap and i'd say air cooled and monoshock would put it early to mid eighty's

there must be some marks on the frame or motor..or maybe cast on the engine or inside of the body work

Question Question Question Question Question

Hi

Not sure. The cantalever rear suspension setup wasn't that rare. The engine doesn't look like any I can find (the style of finning on the cylinder head is pretty unusual).

Other simple thing is what make of carb is fitted?

All the best

Keith

Oh, be nice. I'd been drinking all day, and didn't notice the radiator. I was kind of obsessing over the circular mounting point on the front of the tank, and the exhaust pipe, too...
