Okay so probably not that interesting to most, but I've bought myself a new bike Very Happy
Had an accident a while back that means I've been without a bike for about 5 years now. However after a trip I did last year I've been itching for a new bike.

Stoked!

Nothing special, just an old cheapy gs500 but it feels good to be back in the game Cool

Seeing as I used to post on here quite regularly I thought I would have a look around

Welcome back...looks like you must have suffered a serious whack to the head, I mean what on earth possessed you to buy a GS500!!! Laughing

Seriously though, glad you are back on two wheels...stay rubber side down.

A whack to the head? Probably Smile

But it was a good price!

Looking forward to doing some road trips around South Africa.

Taking it in for a service tomorrow as I got to get it roadworthy-ed (MOT) sooner than later. Seems to ride well so far. Just need to get the breaking light working and it's missing it's front mud guard.

It's funny looking at posts I wrote on here in 2002 (I was 16 back then and had a ped Laughing )

Basically shattered my ankle and now have a plate and 12 screws in my ankle. And to add insult to injury my insurance company found a way to wriggle out of paying Evil or Very Mad
