I was out today and turned into a nice long straight single carriageway. Though I'd nail it, weeeeeeeeeee! But as I was taking off, the screen trim flew off and wrapped round my neck. Shocked I only just grabbed it with my left hand before it disappeared forever.

So I was wondering of anyone else has had to stick there screen trim down before cause I'm thinking I might superglue it down.

I got some screen trim free with the double bubble screen I bought (G, it was plain black edging, nothing tarty Laughing) and numerous times I had to attempt to hold it on the screen at 130+ whilst it tried to fly off.

I then decided it looked shit so took it off.

Must have been jinxed cos it was only a day or two before I then crashed and smashed the screen! I reckon it wouldn't have happened if I left the trim on Wink

I had nearly the same "jinxing", I had a new rear light put on my R Reg GS500E back in 2002, 2 days later I totalled the bike down to a lovely un-insured lady driver Very Happy

Sorry to be a bit off topic
