A bike shop could have replaced the broken stud Thumbs Up

Did you have any bolts holding it to the bike other than the studs around the exhaust port?

the bolts on the exhaust mount, are they snapping, or falling off, thus causing the exhaust to fall off.
if the bolts are missing after your exhaust comes off, it could be the vibrations of the bike unscrewing the bolt.

If the exhaust didin't quite fit properly and the fixings were tightened up under pressure then the whole thing would be under stress. Stress + Vibration = Fracture at weakest point.

Oh and. . . .

Those pics certainly helped me. I feel so calm now.. Karma

The OP put the exhaust back on with the new barrel so probably didn't fracture the mountings.

A dose of thread lock and a torque wrench should do the trick. Thumbs Up

And don't let your dad or brother near your bike again - if they knew what they were doing one of them would have figured it out after the first time it fell off

Are your engine mounts knackered? If the engine was moving in the frame it could cause this type of fracture. Assuming it's a ped, the security of the engine still applies.

Cheers

pu on with a torque wrench !!! you might be putting too much pressure on the bolts, especially as its under pressure taking air from the combustion chamber. its worth having a look at it. you could attach another bracket along the exhaust to take a bit of pressure off those bolts??

and dude, i looked at that photo,, wear some leathers you fool!! could have been much worse

Speed fights are prone to cracking crank cases if the bike falls onto the exhaust side. They have superseeded the part for this making it stronger.
