Basically going to Rhodes in Greece (Pefkos) for 7 days and was wondering what the best amount of money to take is.

We will be Self catering and will probably eat out most nights, even if its just take aways, have a few nights on the piss but mostly be just sat by the pool and relaxing at night.

Will be going to the Waterpark which is 30 Euros.

Would a budget of £350 each be enough?

id budjet about £60 for each day, cover lunch and drinks etc.
plus money for your waterpark trip and a few bits and bobs.
i recon 400-450 is a safer bet. but they have atms and stuff so its not the end of the world if you run out of money ?

Have a look to see what exchange rate your bank gives on cash withdrawals abroad. Thumbs Up

Holiday experience suggest you should make an estimate, double it, double it again and you might have enough for McD's and some fags when you get home.

Harold_Shand's theory might be the best explanation.

When we were in Tenerife earlier in the year, the cash withdrwal rate from the machines was similar to what places in the UK were charging. Will probably just do this in future.
