Right i have a ns125r-k i paid £120 for the bike been sat around for some time. I took it down to Mot center with my fingres crossed i put my insurance on to the bike all the bike needed was a reflector brake light sensor and a rear wheel bearing. So at this point i thought bargain Smile.
Then on they way home i managed to seize the engine at about 70 down the back roads. Got a local garage to fix my bike https://www.sharkmotorcycles.co.uk/<< dont go there.

I had the bike back for a day and i couldnt get gears and it was making grinding noise they said clutch had that fitted at £70 . had it back again i was point out why doesnt it smoke ? it did the frist time i had it back and there was plenty of oil he said it smells like its burning it just keep checking it i was ridding to a friends made a noise road straight back and it stopped.
So they said come back if it makes the noise again and on my way to ross to another friends it seized again.

Anyways here is my project

For the love of god, please remove any red 'accessories' such as grips, pegs etc that aren't stock, and ghey decals like on the rear side panels. Laughing

Hi,
That's actually a NS125R.
My very first bike was one of those, and I passed my test on it!
I may still have a manual somewhere if you need one, I'll have a look. The're very quick when tuned as well.
The engines are dead easy to repair as well. Give us a shout if you need some advice.

Nothing really for them to adjust there.

Nor there unless they fit a new chain and sprockets.

The NS cannot be rebored unless someone has fitted a cast iron liner (original bore is plated).

All the best

Might be the problem! With a liner you should be able to get a couple of rebores from it.

It is not unknown for places to rebore plated barrels and fit an oversize piston. Might run for a short while.

All the best

Keith
