fuckin shite, right?

I remember when it was Cheers, Roseanne and then Golden Girls Thumbs Up

Why is Everybody Loves Raymond stuck at breakfast time... its not even proper breakfast, workers are on their way to work and all the layabouts are still in bed.

I'd go for Simpsons, Cheers, Everybody loves Raymond, Shameless, Louis Theroux/Ross Kemp on gangs then tits and fanny until the sun comes up.

Whats your line-up, or have you got an idea for a Saturday night programme

I used to like coming home from the pub and turning " Men and Motors " on. There was always a program presented by Jo Guest where girls got their tits out randomly. I used to try and see if there was a deeper meaning to the show but concluded it was just about tits.

I always thought they just stuck that on to put my back up first thing in the morning when I am least able to do defend myself against it.

I do not "get" that banal yank dross.

Men and motors classic : Strip Masterbrain.

Where the format was Mastermind but ... erm stripping, if they got the question wrong.
Usually went something like:

"What is the typical terminal velocity of a human weighing 200lbs?"
"124mph"
"Correct. What did James Chadwick infamously discover?"
"The neutron."
"Correct. What colour is a police siren in the UK?"
"Erm.... Pink?"
*Remove clothing*

Back on topic, Saturday night telly I recall being Noel's house party and Gladiators. Can't remember anything good after those.

Saturday evening prime time TV has two effects on the populace. It reinforces an inherent docile stupidity and makes them drool. It's nothing more than televised British holiday camp entertainment pandering to the lowest common denominator in terms of intelligence, innovation and the delicate sensibilities of a middle class made fragile by a press hell bent on convincing that same middle class that they should feel horribly offended at the merest whiff of a slight to a minority who probably have satellite so don't watch the vapid mitherings we're offered on a weekend evening anyway.

Not enough full stops or commas, oh well.

Wink

I thought that line up used to be on chanel 4 on a friday night not a saturday night many many moons ago.

I ignore all television on a saturday night until either the racing comes on or the football. This gives the wife free run to watch the mind melting drivel that spews out of it and stops any opposition to the the sport later on Thumbs Up

The only exception to this rule is when Doctor Who is on Embarassed yes I am a sad git.
