Hi All
Following on from a thread I made a while about a trip this summer to Switzerland I have now officially booked the time off work.
I have not made any final decisions but I will be following something similar to the below route....
https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=A2%2FNew+Kent+Rd&daddr=A16+to:50.317408,4.482422+to:D417%2FRue+du+9%C3%A8me+Zouaves+to:A5+to:A8+to:Via+Quarantadue+Martiri%2FSS34+to:N94+to:A8+to:A54+to:D809%2FRoute+de+la+Cavalerie+to:N102+to:Unknown+road+to:D86%2FRoute+Nationale+to:A6+to:Voie+Georges+Pompidou+to:A16&geocode=Fda6EQMdCrb-_w%3BFYo3CQMdaGwcAA%3B%3BFdAT3QIdNsZsAA%3BFcjgzAIdamNpAA%3BFQbkxwIdxmN2AA%3BFWgPvQIdkHCBAA%3BFVBxqgId6IpkAA%3BFWRTmwIdfC1vAA%3BFQ6tmQIdZ8ZNAA%3BFXS7oAIdqhcvAA%3BFaQ7qgIdoio9AA%3BFZK8rgIdhixDAA%3BFViSrgIdgOpJAA%3BFSbDzQIdpAxKAA%3BFXCe6QId5FcjAA%3BFZYwCQMdyMAcAA&hl=en&mra=dpe&mrcr=1&mrsp=2&sz=5&via=2,5,7,11,12,14&sll=47.428087,7.470703&sspn=15.254797,39.506836&ie=UTF8&ll=50.169862,4.625244&spn=3.609922,9.876709&t=p&z=7
I am considering camping just because I think it will be a bit more fun but may just do B&B's.
I will be riding my Hyosung GT250 I won't topping a ton but the plan is to get through France as quickly as possible until I get to the mountains in the south of France/Switzerland and Italy.
On the return trip I would like to go via Milau as I was supposed to go and check out the viaduct on my trip last year but ran out of time.
Once past Milau I want to Avoid central/West France as my experience of it last year was of it being flat and as boring as !#@%
At the moment I am going on my own but am hoping others may want to join me.
So... Anyone interested? Timing isn't set in concrete as my job is fairly lenient so can go a few days either way if it helps others
Cheers!

Dont have the money, but looking at your route, If your going to reach montpellier, take a day or two to do
Perpignan>Andorra>Jaca>Pamplona using the N260/N240.
You'll can thank me later ____________________ [Current Bikes - GSXR-750 K5 & C90-97 ] [Previous Bikes: Runner 125, YBR 125, GS500, Bandit 600, Hornet 600, ZX6R-99, C90-99, R1-99, XT600E-04, GSXR-750 K4, CRF250L '16] |

we didn't manage to do much of the N-240 as we were coming up from Zaragoza but I did detour a little just ot get some of it but we did get the whole of the N260 which was for me without a doubt the best part of the trip.
