Rearsets

Has anyone got any experience of aftermarket rearsets? I want to fit some to my K7 busa and the choices I have found are:-

Gilles
Arata
Rizoma
Valta Moto

Does anyone know of any others or where I can go to see them before I buy. Everything I can find is mail order.

Had adjustable Harris rear sets on the ZX7R.

I would have adjusted them to suit my position but the screws were a little 'cheese' like and rounded somewhat so got used to it.

Ive used coerce rearsets on my zxr400, these were beautifuly made bits of kit very light and looked stunning.

On the zx9r i used gilles rearsets, these were the dogs danglies. I got them set up for long distance riding. more for comfort than for ground clearance. I liked these so much ive just ordered a new set for the TL.

Hi

I have Harris rearsets on the Bandit. On their highest setting to get my feet as high as possible for top speed runs.

Work OK. The brake light setupt is a bit of a bodge.

I've always avoided Gilles. When I've asked about them looks of people said there are too many little bits and they don't crash very well.....

What would be the best for a 'universal' fit as can't seem to find ones for the new bike. I presume that the distance between the securing holes is universal between a variety of bikes but maybe?

I've got Gilles and Harris. Neither survive crashing well, but both give good adjustment. The Gilles pegs are nice and grippy and don't instantly wear a hole in the bottom of your boot like the Harris. The Gilles look cooler too ....


I'd rate the Gilles over the Harris.
